NRC-IRAP Ontario
So Much to Discover

Welcome to our Region

NRC-IRAP helps small - and medium-sized Canadian firms build their capability in technology and innovation. Our Industrial Technology Advisors (ITAs) work with you on-site to assess your company's needs and design solutions tailored to your business.

IRAP offers you direct technical assistance, access to the latest technological advances, expertise, facilities, and resources, as well as cost-shared financing of innovative technical projects.

Sixty-eight ITAs work in Ontario. They manage assigned areas within a designated sector of the province: Northern Ontario and Eastern Ontario; the SouthWest (including Hamilton, London, Windsor, Owen Sound); Metro Toronto; West-Metro; East-Metro; and central Ontario. Expertise covers the range of industrial sectors found here, including electronics, computer hardware and software, construction, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, and medical/health care industries.

In Ontario, IRAP works closely with a number of organizations such as The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Tourism (MEDTT) and the Northern Regional Development Agency FedNor. In Scarborough call (416) 973-4484.
