Answers to your Questions:
The operators are located at our Central Processing Site in Miramichi, New Brunswick. They answer questions from the public about the Firearms Act and the firearms provisions of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Where an operator is unable to answer a question from a member of the public, the question is sent to the Canada Firearms Centre for reply. The individual concerned will receive a callback and information within 3 business days (longer during extremely busy periods).

Other Requests:
You can also contact our 1-800 line to order documents or to request that your name be added to our mailing list.

Requesting Forms or Assistance
Through the 1-800 line you can request application forms to be sent to you by surface mail.  You can also ask the operators for help in filling out your forms.
