Headstart on research at NRC-INH
Dr. Michael Mayne
(NRC-INH Lead Scientist)
"Although the INH building will not be completed until early 2006, our research programs are well underway. I am fortunate that my previous employer (University of Manitoba and the St. Boniface Hospital Research Centre) enabled me to keep my research program operational in Winnipeg while we make significant administrative advances here in Charlottetown.
It is important to be able to continue our research while we wait for the building to be finished. Our friends at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) in Charlottetown have been kind enough to take us in (effective this summer) and thus we will have access to excellent lab facilities immediately."
