Nose as Mouse
Nose as Mouse
The man seated in the image is letting his nose lead the way in operating his computer. He's using Nouse™ which stands for "Nose as Mouse", (pronounced naus), instead of a traditional mouse. Using a web-cam and facial recognition software, the NRC-developed technology enables users to interact with their computers precisely and smoothly using their nose. The technology has broad potential applications for the disabled, and biometrics and computer gaming industries.
