Number: AL06-001 Date: 9 May 2006 PSEPC is releasing this update to Alert AL06-001 to advise that after further analysis, it appears the exploit is related to Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-014, not MS06-015. The revised Alert is included below. PSEPC recommends that system administrators test and apply the patch provided by Microsoft (MS06-014) as soon as practicable. AssessmentThe exploit is executed when an user visits a valid website that is subverted by an attacker who inserts malicious instructions into the existing HTML code. Suggested actionPSEPC recommends that system administrators test and apply the patch provided by Microsoft (MS06-014) as soon as practicable. In addition, system administrators should include the following URL "http://user5323232323235.com/lstats/add.php?id=" to their Intrustion Detection System (IDS) signatures.
