The Canada Health Portal (CHP) is an internet site that provides Canadians
with an authoritative and integrated view of health information and services
from various government jurisdictions and organizations across Canada.
Situated on the Canada Site within Service Canada, the CHP is a collaborative effort currently providing seamless access to health information
from over 18 Federal Government Departments, provincial/territorial governments
and other portals on the Canada Site. See Contributing

Currently, the CHP features :
- dozens of health information categories, such as conditions and diseases,
addictions, occupational health, healthy lifestyles;
- a wide range of interactive tools to help maintain a healthy lifestyle;
- health resources specific to groups such as youth, seniors, men, women, children;
- current and credible health advisories and warnings;
- access to daily press releases on health issues from across the country;
- links to all provincial/territorial Ministries of Health;
- easy to understand fact sheets on variety of topics.
The CHP is committed to providing links only to authoritative and trusted health
information and services. The Health on the Net Foundation Code of Conduct (HONcode)
principles for medical and health web sites are used to assess the credibility
of the links provided.
