2 1996 Estimated damage: $303 million + $87.8 million for second hail storm map Calgary, AB / July / Hail storm caused heavy flooding and extensive damage to property and automobiles. A second hail storm six days later added another.
3 1996 Estimated damage: $151 million map Winnipeg, MB / July / Tennis-ball-sized hail smashed property, crops, gardens and windows. A tornado accompanied high winds.
