The GEEE! in GENOME

Full-size Exhibition

Logo of The Geee! in Genome.Genetics and genomics are featured in this 250 m2 exhibition. It examines the basics of genes and genomics, highlighting recent scientific discoveries, their applications and the impact of genomic research on society. A wide array of topics are explored, ranging from the mapping of the human genome and its implications for the health of Canadians, to the use of genomics in agriculture, forestry and the preservation of wild species. Programming materials accompany the exhibition. Together, the exhibition and programmes will facilitate discussion and debate on one of the hottest and most controversial of scientific disciplines. The Geee! in Genome is an innovative project with many components.
