Deputy Prime Minister to introduce amendments to corrections and conditional release act

April 19, 2005 -- On Wednesday, April 20th, the Honourable Anne McLellan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness will introduce amendments to the Corrections and Conditional Release Act.

The amendments will be accompanied by a series of new program measures designed to improve resources available to victims of crime and enhance the corrections and conditional release system.
