Priorities for the regional call for proposals (Quebec)

Funding is available in Quebec for projects which adopt a Crime Prevention through Social Development (CPSD) approach to address risk factors that contribute to crime and victimization. The Quebec Region will give priority to projects which focus on:

  • women and children victims of / or witness to family violence;
  • youth that demonstrate violent behaviour;
  • ethnocultural youth and families who face problems of crime and violence;
  • youth and street gangs.

The cut-off date for this call for proposals is September 29th, 2006 (the postmark will serve as proof of date of receipt).

Organizations should ensure that their proposals are clear and that their objectives and outcomes are realistic, achievable and punctual. Should the application be incomplete, your organization may be contacted and asked to provide additional information. Funding for CPAF projects is limited. Projects which best meet the CPAF’s objectives are given priority.
