Sharon McShane has over 20 years experience in senior management positions. From 1992 to 1998, she was chief financial officer/investment manager at Mentor Capital Management Corporation, the investment manager for the Manitoba Teachers' Retirement Allowances Fund Board. She was responsible for controllership functions and for selecting and implementing information systems for investments and corporate accounting. She previously served as an accountant for the Town of Selkirk, Manitoba and in several management positions in the Investment Division of Great-West Life Assurance Company in Winnipeg.
Sharon McShane received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1982. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and a Bachelor of Science degree, both from the University of Manitoba.
Sharon McShane joined the Canadian Grain Commission in 1998.
