Jarett Goodwin has worked as the Canadian Grain Commission’s (CGC) manager of National Affairs since August 2004. As the CGC presence in Ottawa, he acts as the liaison with the Minister’s office, Agricultural and Agri-Food Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, central agencies and other relevant departments. His role is to represent the views of the CGC in Ottawa, and ensure that federal policy development is communicated back to the organization.
Prior to joining the CGC, Jarett was a policy officer in the office of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He also worked as policy analyst with the CGC’s policy and planning unit where he worked on grain policy issues.
