Now Recruiting!

For School Groups

Are you a good communicator? Do you have a passion for nature that you would like to share with students?

Museum volunteers deliver curriculum-based workshops to children in grades K to 4. Training will be provided so that you can direct activities, lead discussions and serve as resources to assist students in their discoveries.

For Special Events

Volunteers will be needed for special events starting in October 2006 when Nature re-opens its west side with all-new galleries!

Youth Rock!

Youth are an important part of the Canadian Museum of Nature's volunteer team. Most begin with Seasonal Programming. You provide the enthusiasm, we provide the training.

If you are a student aged 14 and older, outgoing, motivated and enjoy working with children, this is for you!

And check out our Macoun Field Club for young naturalists, which we co-sponsor with the Ottawa Field Naturalists' Club.
