Amended to September 21, 2006

Canada Grain Regulations

Please be advised that the Canada Grain Regulations have been amended effective September 21, 2006. Listed below are the significant changes that have been made for the 2006-2007 crop year:

• Section 15 of the regulations has been amended to clarify the Canadian Grain Commission’s licensing exemptions for elevators and grain dealers.

Other amendments consist of housekeeping changes that improve readability, ensure consistency of language and reflect the procedures currently being followed by the grain industry, for example: 6.(1); 6.(3)(a); 6.(3)(c); 8.(3); 45.(1); 50. (a); 50. (c); Form 7 of Schedule 4 ‘Type of Reference’ French version only; and Schedule I, paragraph 2(b) has been repealed.
