Payment protection information for producers

Crops Protected by Security Provided to the Canadian Grain Commission

Under the Canada Grain Act, the following crops are protected by security held by the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC). If a licensee refuses or fails to pay, the producer can make a claim against security for these crops. If the crop is not on the list, it is not protected by security.
