Ottawa, March 3, 2005 -- The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed the tragic death of four members of the Force. This event is a reminder of the sacrifice and bravery of the men and women who serve in our national police force. As Minister responsible for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, I want to express my condolences to the families and the fellow officers of the deceased.
