Research in the Buriak Group

Nanotechnology stands poised to have a major impact not only on science, but also on society and human well-being. The design and synthesis of spatially defined, functional devices on the nanoscale is highly challenging and yet of extreme importance for a wide range of future applications in electronics and computing, biomedical sensors, drug delivery schemes and renewable energy, among others. In our group, we are working on several projects to build, through chemistry, functional nanoscale structures on technologically important surfaces.
