Molecular and Nano-Material Architectures

Introduction

Proper design of materials is paramount to the successful development of functional useful devices. The mission of the Molecular and Nano-Material Architectures Group is to fulfill this role within SIMS. The group uses the principles of chemical synthesis to design novel architectures that could form the basis for new molecular platforms in bio-medical and environmental diagnostics as well as environment friendly high performance materials. The group has strong expertise in organic, organometallic and inorganic synthesis as well as in analytical, magnetic and spectroscopic characterizations.
