FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Although this Annual Report focuses on the Commission’s activities for the year ending December 31, the following statement reflects the financial information in line with the annual appropriation from Parliament, which lapses on March 31.Financial information included in the Departmental Performance Report, Supplementary Estimates A, the Report on Plans and Priorities and in the Public Accounts of Canada is consistent with that contained in this financial statement. The planned spending for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, is based on management’s best estimates and judgements.
