  2. To the extent required, these Terms of Use supplement any agreement that you have entered into with respect to Canada Savings Bonds (“Bond Agreement”). These Terms of Use do not replace, amend, vary or delete any term of any Bond Agreement. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Terms of Use and any Bond Agreement, the provisions of the Bond Agreement take precedence to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency, except if the conflict or inconsistency relates to subject matter that is specific to this Site in which case the provision in the Terms of Use takes precedent to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency.
  3. You consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information, through this Site, in accordance with the Bank‘s Privacy Notice posted on this Site.
  4. You will be responsible for any use of your Client Reference Number by you or any third party other than Bank personnel. You will keep your Client Reference Number and associated password private and not share them with anyone other than Bank personnel. If you know or suspect that your Client Reference Number or password has been lost, stolen or otherwise compromised, you will report it to the Bank immediately. You will notify the Bank in the event of any unauthorized use of this Site by anyone using your Client Reference Number and password. From time to time, we may ask you to reset your password to ensure the highest level of security on the Web site.
  5. You authorize the Bank to accept, and you will be solely responsible for, all instructions submitted to the Bank through this Site. The Bank may rely on such instructions as if you had given them signed and in writing, whether such instructions are made by you, or any other person acting with or without your knowledge or consent.
  6. In its sole discretion, for any reason, the Bank may decline to act, or delay acting upon, any instruction provided through this Site. The Bank will not incur any liability by reason of acting or failing to act in respect of an instruction provided through this Site.
  7. The Bank may maintain a database of your instructions and such records will be conclusive and binding on you with respect to any dispute, including any legal proceeding, as conclusive evidence of your instructions, in the absence of clear proof that the Bank‘s records are wrong or incomplete. You agree that computer-generated or electronic records received or created by the Bank in connection with your use of this Site shall be admissible in a court of law, and you waive any defence that you may otherwise have as to their admissibility.

The Bank is not responsible in any manner for content found on other Web sites that are linked to this Site by hyperlinks and no endorsement of any products, services or information is expressed or implied by any information, material or content referred to or included on, or linked from or to this Site. This section and sections 7 and 10 will survive any termination of this agreement.
