Director, Industry Services
Jim Stuart brings 24 years of knowledge of grain inspection operations, including 20 years of leadership and management experience in the Canadian Grain Commission, to the position of director of Industry Services. His experience is as geographically diverse as it has been increasingly challenging. He started his career with the CGC in 1977 as an assistant grain inspector in Montreal, and in 1980 as a grain inspector in Quebec City. From October, 1981, he moved across Canada and through Industry Services ranks as inspector in charge at Baie Comeau, operations supervisor and district manager at Prince Rupert, and regional director of the Prairie Region in Winnipeg and the Eastern Region in Montreal.
Jim Stuart was educated in Trois-Rivieres and at Loyola College in Montreal, Quebec. He is married and has three children.
