Get grading results on your harvest sample
Information for Grain Producers
Use the Canadian Grain Commission’s (CGC) Harvest
Sample program to get an unofficial grade for your grain sample and the
following analytical results:
- Protein content on cereal grains and pulses
- Oil, protein and chlorophyll content for canola
- Oil and protein content and iodine value for flaxseed
You can receive your Harvest Sample results:
- Through the
new web service
- The web service will provide you with your own account where
you will find your results for this year’s samples.
- Your account will be password protected.
- Use your Harvest Sample Identification Number to access your
account.
- First-time users will be asked to create their own password.
- By telephone
- Call our 24-hour toll-free number: 1-888-324-2248.
- You can access service in English or French.
- You will be asked to enter your Harvest Sample
Identification Number.
- By visiting the CGC booth at
agricultural shows
- Please bring your Harvest Sample Identification Number.
Results for wheat and oilseeds samples are available four weeks after
you send a sample. Results for pulse samples are available within six to
eight weeks.
Prize draws
When your harvest sample arrives at the CGC, your name will be
entered in draws for CGC prizes in October and November, plus a grand
prize draw in December.
If you send in your sample before October 1, you will be entered in
all three draws.
