Classes of Licences and Definitions

Grain dealer

Grain dealer's licence to carry on business as a grain dealer. Grain dealer means a person, who for reward, on their own behalf or on behalf of another person, deals in or handles western grain.

Primary

Primary elevator licence to operate a primary elevator. Primary elevator means an elevator the principal use of which is the receiving of grain directly from producers for either or both storage and forwarding.

Process

Process elevator licence to operate a process elevator. Process elevator means an elevator the principal use of which is receiving and storing of grain for direct manufacture or processing into other products.

Terminal

Terminal elevator licence to operate a terminal elevator. Terminal elevator means an elevator the principal uses of which are the receiving of grain upon or after the official inspection and official weighing of the grain and the cleaning, storing and treating of the grain before it is moved forward.

Transfer

Transfer elevator licence to operate a transfer elevator. Transfer elevator means
