Biography

Alan is a part-time student at Carleton University pursuing a Master of Computer Science, and has recently completed a Certificate in BioInformatics (2006). He also holds a B.Sc. in combined Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada (2000). Alan is interested in the broad topic of learning from data and he realizes that it is a difficult task to aid the discovery of understanding.
