Biography

Susan O’Donnell is a social scientist specializing in the communications and social aspects of ICT (information and communication technologies). Video communications using broadband Internet is currently the main focus of her research.

Susan's research is building understanding (social analysis leading to improved policies and use of ICT) and technology (social analysis as part of a multi-disciplinary technology development team).

Susan has a PhD (Communications) from Dublin City University, Ireland, an MA from Cardiff University, Wales, and a BA from the University of Ottawa, Canada. She is also Adjunct Professor, Sociology, at the University of New Brunswick.
