Global Value Chains This website has been created to share and present research on Global Value Chains for your benefit. Global value chains (GVCs) include the full range of activities that are required to bring a product from its conception to its end use and beyond (e.g. design, production, distribution). The ability of Canadian firms to integrate and manage GVCs is key to their future competitiveness and long-term economic viability.
