Notice to CounselAppearing before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British ColumbiaStarting October 1, 2006, all registry operations for the Western Region of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) will be consolidated at its Vancouver office. This means all:
from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and the Northwest Territories are to be sent to the Registrar in Vancouver, B.C. Please continue to follow the rules on communicating with the IRB. This directive applies to new work received October 1, 2006, onwards. The address for the Western Region Registry is: Registrar Telephone: 604-666-5946 This move is part of a continuing effort on the part of the IRB to ensure its internal administrative processes are as efficient as possible. Please note that in-person and videoconference proceedings will continue to be held in the same cities as previously.
