Part of the PSEPC mandate, as stipulated by the First Nations Policing Policy (FNPP), is to ensure Aboriginal policing services are responsive to the needs of Aboriginal communities. This entails conducting research, evaluations and audits to identify areas for improving the community-based policing services and the FNPP. Below you will find an explanation of the research focus, the frameworks used to evaluate the FNPP, and evaluations of individual services from the last two years.
