Greening R&D - Our Environmental Commitement

In keeping with its corporate values of commitment, creativity and innovation, professionalism, and integrity, DRDC has once again shown its leadership by becoming one of the first federal S&T; organizations to implement its own environmental policy.

As a responsible organization that recognizes that its activities may have an impact on the environment, DRDC is taking action. This is accomplished through the incorporation of environmental considerations into its management policies and research activities within an overall perspective of sustainable development and continual improvement.

StepsIts environmental policy ensures the responsible management of DRDC's activities and lays the foundation for an environmental management system (EMS) based on the management model of the international standard ISO 14001.

DRDC's environmental policy is advocated by its CEO, confirming the Agency's commitment to ensuring that its activities are performed in an environmentally sustainable manner, one that achieves the mission without compromising the well-being of future generations.
