Forty-two students joined the Right Honourable Jean Chrétien, Prime Minister of Canada, the Honourable Brian Tobin, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), Mac Evans, CSA President, and Lindsay Evans, CSA Robotics Instructor, for a live broadcast of the first Classroom Presentation from the International Space Station, a unique learning experience, which was held as part of the Wireless Vision Global Congress in St. John's, Newfoundland.
