The Canadian Space Agency Hurricane Watch program: Ready for a new season

In 1999, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Space Operations Directorate, through its Disaster Watch program, began using RADARSAT-1 to acquire synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images of hurricanes observed in Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

RADARSAT-2 testing campaign at the David Florida Laboratory

May 11, 2004, marked the beginning of another interesting and noteworthy challenge for the David Florida Laboratory and its staff. The RADARSAT-2 spacecraft bus module arrived from Alenia Spazio of Rome, Italy.

Expedition Seven's successful long duration mission aboard the Space Station

Expedition Seven Crew Commander Yuri Malenchenko and NASA Station Science Officer Ed Lu visited CSA in early March for technical debriefings on their work with the Canadarm2 during their term on the International Space Station.
