Research on Parabolic Flights in September 2004

Canadian scientists have had access to a near-zero gravity research environment for many years. A modified Falcon 20 business jet based at NRC's Flight Research Laboratory at Upland's Airport in Ottawa provides room enough for four scientists to conduct three experiments.

The future looks bright for the International Space Station

In May, during the SpaceOps conference in Montréal, Apogee had an opportunity to discuss the International Space Station (ISS) and Canada's contribution to it, the Mobile Servicing System, with William H. Gerstenmaier, Manager of the ISS Program at NASA.

Russia Explores Space

A special exhibit presented in collaboration with the Russian Space Agency took place at the Canadian Space Agency headquarters in Longueuil, Quebec, last September. This exhibit, entitled "Russia Explores Space" showcased Russia's legacy in space.
