To track the ice, the Volvo Ocean Race is using the expertise of C-CORE, a Canadian company that is developing an iceberg and shipping detection classification system for the Canadian Space Agency. C-CORE has provided a pre-leg reconnaissance mission for areas where there may be treacherous icebergs.
