Rates of Pay for certain employees excluded from collective bargaining – HR, FR, ND, AU, LS, PG, ED, MD, PI, NU
The Treasury Board has recently approved new rates of pay for the Historical Research Group (HR), the Firefighters
Group (FR), the Nutrition and Dietetics Group (ND), the Auditing Group (AU), the Library Science Group (LS), the
Purchasing and Supply Group (PG), the Education Group (ED), the Medicine Group (MD), the Primary Products Inspection
Group (PI) and the Nursing Group (NU) covered by collective bargaining.
The Secretary of the Treasury Board has approved similar salary range increases for the HR-5, the FR-7 and FR-8
levels, the ND-DIT-4 level, the AU-6 level, the LS-5 level, the PG-6 level, the ED-EDS-6 and ED-LAT-3 levels, the
MD-MOF-4 and 5 and the MD-MSP-3 levels, the PI-7 and PI-CGC-7 and 8 levels, and the NU-HOS-7 and 8 levels for which
exist excluded rates of pay. The date of authorization is February 28, 2002.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has been advised to proceed with the implementation of the
revised rates.
Those ranges which consist of fixed steps will be implemented automatically by PWGSC on the appropriate dates. For
those levels where only a range minimum and maximum have been provided, it will be necessary to complete a pay action
form for each employee paid within that range.
