Augments federal SAR forces and promotes aviation safety in four zones across the province. Members receive training in wilderness survival and aircraft safety, and are registered with the EMO. Has an MOU with the RCMP to provide support when requested. Conducts training sessions with the CCGA. Has agreements with CASARA Saskatchewan and a SAR organization in Kenora, Ontario to work together when responding to SAR events. Seminars are given on aircraft safety. Publishes The Searcher quarterly. Founded 1986. Five hundred and ten members.
