Provides comprehensive logistics support to scientists working in the Canadian Arctic between February and September. Has an agreement with the RCMP and Ellesmere Island National Park Reserve to provide mutual assistance when responding to SAR events. Provides helicopter support for the RCMP and other organizations when requested. Maintains 24-hour radio contact with various scientific research parties and provides a variety of special field and safety equipment. Resources include 10 helicopters and 2 Twin Otters.
