The community Emergency Response Team Society of the NWT, will respond to callouts from recognized government or non-government agencies. All members are trained to the following standards by certified instructors: 1) FEMA CERT program 2) ERI Canada SAR FUN 3) CIS Awareness 4) St. John Ambulance AMFR level 1 with O2 and spinal modules. 5) Basic Emergency Preparedness. In addition some members are trained in Low Angle Rescue,Rescue Systems 1 and 2, Emergency Site Management, GSAR Manager, and Arctic and Sub Arctic operations. CERT Will deploy within the area of the NWT, NU and Alberta upon request
