Responsible for public safety and SAR activities in the park. Works with the RCMP and CCG when responding to SAR events. Warden staff are trained in first aid, CPR, ground SAR, cliff rescue, and basic firefighting techniques. Twenty-three surfguards (seasonal) patrol supervised beach areas, and are trained and certified by the Lifesaving Society. Bilingual services. Founded 1939. Nine staff with SAR capabilities.
