Specializes in rough terrain, woodland, and waterway search and rescues, criminal evidence searches, body recovery, and youth and public prevention programs. Members receive training in rappelling, man tracking, search management, radio communications, first aid, aerial spotting, body retrieval, map use, and compass reading. Member of New Brunswick Ground SAR, SARVAC. Resources include a mobile command post, an RCMP helicopter, a portable radio and base generator, spot lights, tents, and miscellaneous search equipment. Bilingual services. Founded 1985. Fifty-four volunteer members.
