Responsible for public safety and SAR activities in the park. Staff receive training in mountain, glacier, and cliff rescue techniques, winter survival, first aid, CPR, rapelling, and other SAR techniques. Staff also receive training in helicopter-sling manoeuvres andare experienced in high arctic rescues. Services provided in English, French, and Inuktitut. Founded 1974.
