Primary organization responding to requests for ground SAR in the province. Has an agreement with Parks Canada, Prince Albert National Park when responding to SAR events. Staff are experienced in ground and forest searches. All staff receive training in map reading, compass use, tracking, night searching, and other SAR techniques. Staff are trained in first aid and are recertified every two years. An established, fully trained, 20-member ground SAR team is available to respond province-wide, 24 hours a day. Bilingual services.
