Responsible for public safety and SAR activities in the park. Owing to the presence of three large lakes within park boundaries, the staff are experienced in inland water rescues. Some staff are experienced in mountain rescues and several staff have advanced first aid training. Three Park Wardens have search management training. Has agreements with the RCMP and EMO to work together when responding to SAR events. Bilingual services. Founded 1927. Twelve full-time and nine seasonal staff with SAR capabilities.
