Members are experienced in forest, shoreline, evidence, and night searches. Receives training and support from NSGSARA. All members receive training in search dog use, first aid, evidence preservation, traffic control, map reading and compass use, radio communications, GPS, and search management. Teaches preventive SAR to schools and local community groups using the "Hug-a-Tree" program. Offers map reading and compass use training to local community groups. Resources include a bus, radio equipment, a travel trailer, and a cellular phone. Founded 1975. Seventy-eight volunteer members.
