Coordinates the use of provincial government resources in support of land, marine, and air SAR services. Determines the availability of support and acts as direct liaison between the responsible authorities and providers of resources and services. Assists in federal air and marine SAR operations when tasked by RCC Halifax. Works with the RCMP and NSGSARA to provide SAR services. Has an MOU with NSGSARA. Publishes the Internal Operational Guide. Founded 1971. Ten staff.
