Members are experienced in forest searches. Provides support for the RCMP when requested. Services are provided in the area serviced by the Glovertown RCMP detachment, including Terra Nova National Park. All members receive training from the RCMP in map reading, compass use, proper treatment of hypothermia, day and night SAR techniques, first aid, CPR, and winter survival. Some members also receive training in helicopter safety and search dog use from the RCMP. Resources include vans, tents, all-terrain vehicles, and snowmobiles. Founded 1994. Forty volunteer members.
