Members are experienced in ground and forest searches. Provides support for the RCMP when requested. All members receive CPR and first aid training from St. John Ambulance. Additional training is provided by senior members of the group in map reading, compass use, and day and night SAR techniques. Some members receive training in rappel techniques from the Canadian Rangers. Resources include a Zodiac, a motor and trailer, portable radios, a van, a trailer used as a mobile command base, and miscellaneous SAR equipment. Founded 1985. Thirty-five volunteer members.
