Members are experienced in ground, embankment, swift water and rope rescue. Receives training and support from B.C. PEP. Five members are trained search managers, eight are ground search team leaders, four are certified GSAR instructors, six have certified tracking awareness, one is a rope rescue instructor, three are trained rope rescue team leaders, four are trained rope rescue team members, six are trained in avalanche awareness, six are trained in swift water rescue, and one is trained in cave rescue. One member is a certified dog handler with 2 certified dogs. All members are trained in ground SAR techniques. Provides support to other provincial SAR groups when requested. Resources include a rescue hall/training centre, mobile bus with communications gear and rescue equipment, small zodiac & trailer, equipment trailer, four portable generators, portable radios, rescue packs, rope rescue gear, swift water gear and stretchers. Thirty-five volunteer members.
