Founded in 1954, its mandate is the protection of life and property on Lake Ontario adjacent to the Oakville shoreline. Operates a purpose built 27 ft. aluminum hulled vessel with twin 210hp inboard/outboard engines. 11 crews man the vessel which is on the water each day from 1st May through to the middle of November.
