Source: http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/P-34/SI-2006-11/246234.html Regulation current to September 15, 2006 Order Amalgamating and Combining the Department of International Trade and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade under the Minister and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs SI/2006-11 PUBLIC SERVICE REARRANGEMENT AND TRANSFER OF DUTIES ACT Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby (a) pursuant to paragraph 2(a)a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, transfers a S.C. 2003, c. 22, s. 207 (i) from the Department of International Trade to the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade the control and supervision of all of the portions of the federal public administration within the Department of International Trade, and (ii) from the Minister for International Trade to the Minister of Foreign Affairs the powers, duties and functions received by the Minister for International Trade under paragraph (b) of Order in Council P.C. 2003-2049 of December 12, 2003, and (b) pursuant to paragraph 2(b) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, amalgamates and combines the Department of International Trade and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade under the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, effective February 6, 2006. |
