Part of the South Central Search and Rescue Association, providing Ground Search Teams to assist in the Cochrane and Greater Kanaskis Area, as well as supporting Calgary Search and Rescue and Foothills Search and rescue when tasked. Over 40 Fundamentally Search Trained volunteers with seven Search Managers. Through Civilian Emergency Response Program, our members are trained to deal with a wide variety of different disasters. All Full members have a full 24 hour backpack and basic medical training. CSAR is a fully volunteer organisation, serving our community in times of need.
